Today’s the last day of BYSHC’s Christmas in July Linky Party. You have until tonight 11:59 PST to link up your newly created Christmas/winter card on BYSHC’s Blog, and the winners are chosen randomly. So the more cards you link up, the higher the chance you can win a prize! We have so many generous sponsor with awesome prizes. Even if you can’t make any cards, just by making a comment on every entry, you have a chance of winning. Check out BYSHC’s Blog for all the details.
I was able to get our sponsor’s Waffle Flower’s new Postage Collage 2024 Holiday Bundle in time to play with it for the Linky Party. I HAD to play with all 3 layering stencils of course, so I have 4 cards to share for the last day! I used the Postage Collage Die to die cut some bases first with kraft, white, and Lawn Fawn’s Dolphin cardstock.

For my first card, I used Postage Collage Gingerbread Stencil. It has 4 layers in total. I stuck my kraft base on Waffle Flower’s 6.5″ x 8.5″ Grip Mat to hold the paper in place and stuck Postage Collage Coloring Stencil over that. I ink blended LDRS Creative Snowy White Hybrid Ink to lightened the kraft cardstock. I skipped layer 1 because I didn’t want to add another color to my background. I wanted to keep it white. I put layer 2 down and ink blended our sponsor Gina K Designs Warm Cocoa Ink. I moved to my layer 3 and used GKD Dark Chocolate Ink. For the last layer, I used GKD Cherry Red Ink. The sentiment is from LDRS Creative Christmas Sentiments. I added a red cardstock mat and glued everything onto an A2 card.

For my second card, I used Postage Collage Poinsettia Stencil. This layering stencil also has 4 layers, but I didn’t use the 1st layer either. I started with the 2nd layer using GKD Lovely Lavender ink. For the 3rd layer, I used GKD Wild Lilac ink and for the last layer I used GKD Green Grass Ink.

For the foiled center of my Poinsettia, I used our sponsor Thermoweb’s Deco foil Transfer Gel Duo and Gold Foil to give it some shine. I actually made a mistake on one of the squares when foiling, so instead of throwing everything away, I cut the postage into separate pieces. I took a purple cardstock and embossed with GKD Swiss Dot Embossing Folder. I used Waffle Flower’s Happy Holidays Print Die for my sentiment. After attaching everything, I added some gold embellishements.

For the last stencil, Postage Collage Snowman Stencil, I made 2 cards. I laid my first stencil over my white cardstock base. I used washi tape to cover the faces on the snowman and ink blended Altenew’s Misty Morning Ink for my background. I removed my washi tape and ink blended the face with GKD Stormy Sky Ink. I moved to my second layer stencil and used Stormy Sky Ink for the buttons, Warm Cocoa Ink for the hands, and Peach Bellini Ink for the nose. I glued my white cardstock over a black mat and glued it all over our sponsor Lawn Fawn Stripes ‘n Sprinkles Petite Paper. Lastly, I used Postage Collage North Pole and Postage Collage Die for the sentiment.

For my last card, I pretty much did the same thing except for my background, I used GKD Pink Bubblegum Ink and Sweet Corn Ink. Which one do you prefer?
Thank you for coming by. I hope you enjoyed this week long Christmas filled week. Make sure to check BYSHC’s Blog for more inspirations.
