A Night Out on Halloween

Today I’m sharing a card inspired by MFT Sketch #556. I used Clearly Besotted As Cute As Can Be Stamp Set for the images and Simply Said Stamp Set for the sentiment. I heat embossed MFT Brush Spatter Background for the stars. For the background, I ink blended with GKD’s Wild Dandelion, Wild Lilac, Blue Denim, and In the Navy.

By the Sea

Welcome back to my blog! Today I’m sharing a card I made with Freshly Made Sketches #500. I started ink blending with GKD Sea Glass, Tranquil Teal, and In the Navy for the ocean. I ink blended clouds with Soft Stone and Simon Says Stamp Stencil Clouds for Days. I stamped the image from Gina K Designs Time to Coast and colored it with Copic Markers and Tombow ABT Pro. I attached Echo Park 6 x 6 By the Sea Paper Pad on to a navy cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment onto a navy cardstock. I used Bearly Art Craft Glue to glue everything together to give me some time to adjust the cardstock to make everything straight.

BYSHC Sketch 13 ~ Ornaments

Happy Friday! I’m sharing another card using BYSHC Sketch 13 with Bugaboo Digital Stamp Christmas Moose Ornaments. My Patterned Paper is from BoBunny’s Joyful Christmas and my sentiment is heat embossed with Mama Elephant’s Holiday Messages stamp set.

There’s still a couple of days to join in on BYSHC’s August Sketch Challenge. Check out some more inspirations on BYSHC’s blog and link up your creation on BYSHC Facebook Page.

Fabulous Flamingo

Today I decided to color up this flamingo from Altenew Poised Flamingo. The card was inspired by MFT Sketch 555 and Time Out’s Photo.

I cut out 3 different colored strips of cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment from Altenew Ornate Foliage Stamp Set onto the black cardstock with Altenew Crisp Pure White Embossing Powder. To make sure my strips were straight, I used my Misti to line the strips and used glue to adjust if needed.

Sweet Birthday

Happy Friday! For Day 20 of The Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge, I decided to color up this adorable giraffe from Unity Stamp Co. I started die cutting a patterned paper and a piece of white cardstock with Pink and Main Stitched Rectangles Set. I stamped the Unity Stamp Cuddlebug Giraffe onto the white cardstock and water color the image. I stamped the sentiment from Mama Elephant’s Birthday Messages Stamp Set above the giraffe and added some embellishments. That’s all!

Thank you for stopping by! Have an ink-credible day!!

Thank you so much

Modsquad Challenges for this month involves thanking their sponsors by sending them a card. This card is for Gina K. using GKD Inks and Stamps. I started ink blending with GKD Red Hot, Sweet Mango, Wild Dandelion, Lucky Clover, Blue Raspberry, and Wild Lilac. Next, I stamped GKD Sketched Flowers Stamps with water. GKD inks are water reactive, so by adding some water, the ink will fade. It’s not perfect, but hopefully she will still like it.

Blue Lily

For Day 6 of The Daily Marker Color Challenge, I decided to color Picket Fence Studio’s Lily Bouquet Stamp. It’s a big image, so after I water colored the image, I cut it in half to make 2 mini slimline cards. I saw some blue heart lily pictures, so I decided to try to color my lilies like that.

I stamped the image with GKD Embossing Ink and added Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder. I heat embossed the image and water colored the image. After cutting my image in half, I stamped Gina K Designs Sentiments from her July Kit with GKD Amalgam Ink and Blue Raspberry Ink. I attached the cardstock onto a blue mat and attached it to my mini slimline card.

Have an inkcredible weekend!

Coloring Challenge Day 1 ~ Autumn Vibes

Happy Sunday! It’s Day 1 of The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge! I’ve only done the shortened versions of the Daily Marker coloring challenge, but I’m excited to try this for 30 days!

For my first day, I decided to color Graciellie Design’s Tea-lightful Mega digital stamp. I colored the image with Artist’s Loft Watercolor Markers and fussy cut it out. For the background, I ink smooshed some colors to the background and transferred some Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo with a spatula over Funky Fossil Degisns’ Knitted Background Stencil. I cut some Gold Deco Foil sheets and pressed them on to the top of the transfer gel.
