BYSHC Christmas in July 2022 ~ Small Dies

It’s the last day of BYSHC Christmas in July! This week passed by so fast and I saw so many beautiful creations. Check them out at BYSHC Blog and you still have all day today to join us in the hop by linking up a Christmas/winter card to have a chance to win a prize. For my last card, I die cut a white cardstock and turquoise cardstock with Gina K Designs Master Layout 1. I used Simon Says Stamp Embossing Folder Faceted Snowflakes for the white cardstock for my background and created a wreath with Spellbinders Christmas Blooms Dies. I finished my wreath off with our sponsor Twiddler’s Nook Rhinestones. I heat embossed Mama Elephant Holiday Messages and die cut it out with our sponsor Gina K Designs Sentiment strips. I glued the white cardstock on my turquoise mat and then on an A2 card.

BYSHC Christmas in July ~ Gifting Girl

Its day 7 which means it’s the second to last of of BYSHC Christmas in July 2022 Linky Hop. There is still time to join us by linking up a Christmas/winter card to get a chance to win a prize from our wonderful sponsors. The deadline is July 29th 11:59 PST.

Now on to the card for today. I used our delightful sponsor Angie Blom new digital stamp, Gifting Girl. She is also having a sale right now, so go check her out. I printed her out and colored her with copic markers and Tombow abt pro alcohol based markers.

I die cut out my background with our other sponsor Gina K Designs Basket Weave Cover Plate and attached it to a smaller white cardstock. Then I attached it to a red cardstock for a mat and on to a A2 card. I attached some scrap patterned paper from Recollections Say Freeze Paper Pad. Lastly, I fussy cut out the girl and glued her on the top.

BYSHC Christmas in July ~ Meerly Christmas

It’s day 6 of BYSHC Christmas in July! 2 more days left! I have an adorable card using one of our sponsors Newton’s Nook Designs Meerkat stamp set. The meerkat actually isn’t a Christmas stamp, but I added a Santa hat from My Favorite Things Beast Friends stamp set and a wreath from Sunny Studio Happy Owlidays stamp set to make it work.

I stamped out all the images, colored them, and fussy cut them out. I cut the arms of the meerkat so I can put the arms over the wreath. I also heat embossed Gina K Designs Puffy White embossing powder on the santa hat to give it some texture.

I used a piece of scrap pattern paper from Recollections Say Freeze paper pad and attached it to a red cardstock for the mat. I heat embossed the sentiment from a mix of the meerkat stamp set and Sunny Studio Merry Mice stamp set. I die cut out the sentiment with our Sponsor Gina K Designs Master Layout 4. Lastly, I put everything together for this adorable Christmas card.

BYSHC Christmas in July 2022 ~ Simply Gina

For day 5 of BYSHC Christmas in July 2022, I’m sharing another simple card using our AMAZING sponsor Gina K Designs. I love all of her Christmas products. The cards always come out so elegant.

Today, I used her Holiday Tapestry, Ornamental Snowflakes, and Master Layout 7 to make this card. I inked up the leaves with GKD Christmas Pine and the berries with GKD Red Hot. I heat embossed the snowflake and lastly stamped the sentiment from the ornamental snowflakes set.

BYSHC Christmas in July 2022 ~ Warm Wishes

It’s day 4 of BYSHC Christmas in July, and I’m sharing this fun card using our wonderful sponsor Unity Stamp stamp from their May Kit of the Month. This card was inspired by Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #7, which needed to include stars.

First, I stamped the image onto a white cardstock. I used the residual ink to stamp a second image and fussy cut it out. I used it as my masking paper by adding some Tombow removable adhesive. I had a star stencil I created with Cricut a really long time ago, and used that for my background. I ink blended with Gina K Designs Blue Denim and add some Deco foil transfer gel duo in some areas over the star stencil. I had some loose silver foil that I rubbed in to give it some shine.

I stamped the sentiment from our Sponsor Gina K Designs Winter Whimsy stamp set and removed the masking paper. I attached my sheet on a silver foil cardstock for my mat and attached everything on to Gina K Designs Blue Denim cardstock. I glued everything to an A2 card and it’s done.

BYSHC Christmas in July 2022 ~ Meowy Christmas

I’m back for Day 3 of BYHSC Christmas in July Linky Party. I’m sharing a fun shaker card using Gerda Steiner Designs Christmas Kitten, Mama Elephant Comic Cover Wonky Die, and our SPONSOR Twiddler’s Nook Paw Print Confetti Embellishments.

I started by stamping GSD Christmas Kittens, coloring it with copic markers and fussy cutting them out. Next, I cut out a piece of patterned paper from Recollections Christmas Pets for my background and an acetate sheet for my shaker card. I used Mama Elephant’s Comic Cover Wonky Die to die cut out my frame and I colored the frame with Tombow ABT Pro 177 to match it with my pattern paper.

Now that all the pieces are ready, I can assemble my shaker card. I attached the frame to the acetate sheet and attached foam tape on the acetate. I flipped it over and added my embellishments from our wonderful sponsor Twiddler’s Nook. The paws were just so adorable and colorful that I thought it was fun to throw some in. I also threw in some star and Christmas color confetti from Recollections. I placed the pattern paper over the foam tape to complete my shaker card. Lastly, I glued the images and sentiment on the top and glued everything to an A2 card.

BYSHC Christmas in July 2022 ~ Missing you

Welcome back! It’s the second day of our BYSHC Christmas in July 2022 Linky Hop. I used non-traditional colors for my simple, heart filled Christmas card. The colors were inspired by MFT’s Color Challenge #193.

I started by die cutting the tree with Simon Says Stamp Outline Heart of Christmas Die. It has two pieces, so I cut out both the outline of the whole tree and the outline of the hearts. I cut out an extra outline of the hearts so I can ink blend the hearts in with some post-its and Gina K Designs Ink Sea Glass, Turqoise Sea, Coral Reef, and Kraft. Then, I glued the outline of hearts over the tree.

I die cut out a hill with Honey Bee Stamps Hill Borders Die and stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Heart of Christmas Stamp Set. I cut out 2.75″ by 5.75″ white cardstock and ink blended from top to bottom GKD Turquoise Sea, Sea Glass, and Coral Reef. I sprinkled some Iuile Stardust watercolor over the cardstock and glued on the hill and then the tree. I attached everything to a black mat and then to a mini slimline card.

Christmas in July 2022 ~ Clean & Simple

BYSHC’s Christmas in July is back!! It’s the first day and it will last until July 29th. Join us for a linky hop by linking up any Christmas/winter/holiday cards on BYSHC’s blog for a chance to win some great prizes from some generous sponsors. For my first card, I went for a clean and simple card using our sponsors Gina K Designs and Lawn Fawn. I used Gina K Designs Wreath Builder Templates to make my gingerbread wreath. The wreath builder is a great way to use your little stamps in a stamp set.

I started by stamping Lawn Fawn’s Tiny Gingerbread with the template to build a circle, and then I stamped the leaf, the berries, and the snowflakes one by one. The stamped images were from Gina K Designs Holiday Tapestry (leaf), Playful Penguins (berries), and Avery Elle Polar Playtime (snowflake). The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Ornamental Christmas. I inked the sides of a white cardstock with Gina K Designs Light Spruce Ink and used that for my mat. Lastly, I colored the gingerbreads with a brown colored pencil and some gamsol.

BYSHC #24 ~ JOY

Hi friends! I’m sharing my second BYSHC Sketch Challenge #24 card. I was finally able to color up the Unity Stamp Joy, Peace & Comfort Mug after getting it as a freebie. I paired it with Recollections Red & White Christmas Paper Pad and added some Gina K Designs Silver Prismatic Glitter in the snowflake.

BYSHC #24 ~ Snow Globe

Happy Friday! It’s the start of the new month, which means it’s a new sketch with BYSHC! It’s another fun sketch using up scraps of patterned paper.

Be sure to check out the BYSHC Blog and BYSHC Facebook group for other inspirations from the design team. Join us by adding a photo in the album in the Facebook group for a chance to win a prize. The sketch challenge will last until July 31st.

I used some patterned paper scraps from Echo Park Winter Magic Paper Pad with the snow globe from Unity Stamp Advent Calendar 2021 for this card. I stamped the image with Gina K Designs Amalgam Ink and colored with copic markers. I added some spots in the background with Gina K Designs Soft Stone Ink and Iuile Watercolors Stardust and layered the piece of a light blue cardstock.

I used a dark navy for my base and added the two pieces of patterned paper. Additionally, I added a sliver of silver foil cardstock over the joining between the two pieces of paper to give it a finished look. Next, I layered my square piece on top.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Mama Elephant Holiday Messages stamp set onto a light blue cardstock and attached it on the bottom right corner.
