Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mothers out there! For this card, I got inspired by Altenew’s color challenge. I was super excited to finally be playing with this stamp set, and I feel like it was for the perfect occasion. I miss and think of my mom often, so I feel like my sentiment was more fitting for me than Happy Mother’s Day.
Thank you for spending some of your time with me. Hope you have a wonderful day.
Supplies:
Stamp: Altenew Blooming Tulips
Die: Unity Stamp On My Mind Die
Ink: Altenew Pale Mauve and Grape Agate; Gina K Designs Sweet Mango, Honey Mustard, Light Spruce, and Medium Spruce
Happy Friday! I’m sharing my first card for Build you Stash Holiday Cardmakers new sketch for the month of May. This sketch is great with double sided papers. Cut out the middle part and flip it. The papers will pair wonderfully and it’ll save you from using up another paper.
I used this adorable stamp, Hedgey Holidays, from Sunny Studio. I colored it with copic markers and ink blended the edges of the white cardstock with Gina K Designs Sandy Beach Ink. I cut patterned paper from Echo Park Warm and Cozy Paper Pad using the measurements from the sketch below. And voila ~ I was done.

My Greetery package arrived last night, so I decided to have some fun and CASE a JUGS DT member, Nancy. I CASEd her card to the right.
I stamped, inkblended, and die cut out the floral bouquet. I embossed a mint cardstock and die cut out an oval with vellum paper. I glued everything together and that was it. It’s similar, yet different from her card. What do you think?
Thank you for stopping by! Happy crafting!

Happy Saturday! I had some time to play with ink blending, so I used this beautiful stencil from Penguin Palace. I used The Rose – Close Up for both of my cards. Which one do you prefer?
For the first card, I ink blended with Gina K Designs’ Wild Dandelion and Bubblegum Pink. Then I put Simon Says Stamp Fading Tiny Dots Stencil over the Rose Stencil and ink blended with Wild Dandelion. The Sentiment is from My Favorite Things All About You.
For the second card, I ink blended with Gina K Designs Bubblegum Pink, and I stamped Unity Stamp Infinite Birthday Wishes over the stencil. The sentiments are from Gina K Designs Friendly Silhouettes.

This was a super easy card to make with our lovely sponsor, Gina K Designs, products. I started off by masking off the top and the bottom. For the bottom layer, I ripped some cardstock and taped it down to give it some fun edges. I ink blended the night sky with Gina K Designs Peach Bellini, Tranquil Teal, Blue Denim, and In the Navy, from bottom to top. I splashed some water on the sky and then removed the masks. Lastly, I stamped the reindeer, Santa, and sentiment from GKD Holiday Silhouettes.
Thanks for dropping by and hope you join us to build up your holiday card stash. Even if you can’t join us, check out BYSHC Blog to see all the beautiful creations. Happy Crafting!

Check out BYSHC Facebook if you need some sketches to start you off, but Sketch #32 is our most current sketch challenge. The sketch challenge will last until the end of April. You can also win a prize from our amazing Crystal, the one who started it all!
I wanted to use this beautiful paper from our wonderful sponsor, Lawn Fawn. It’s the Knit Picky Winter Collection in the color Baby Blanket. It’s super adorable with My Favorite Things’ Merry Christmoose stamp set.
I stamped the moose and Christmas tree on to white cardstock. I colored the moose and Christmas tree with copic markers and added some accents with a white gel pen. I stamped another moose on to the patterned paper. Then, I cut out the sweater and hat from the moose on the patterned paper and glued those pieces on my colored moose. I die cut out the moose and Christmas tree.
On a piece of scrap white cardstock, I ink blended a night sky using our lovely sponsor, Gina K Designs. From top to bottom, I used In the Navy, Blue Denim, and Blue Raspberry. I splashed some white paint on top for stars. Then, I used another one of our fantastic sponsor’s dies. I used Pink & Main Layered Circle Dies to die cut out my night sky.
I cut out a black strip of cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment using Gina K Designs Embossing Ink and Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. Lastly, I assembled all the pieces together and glued everything down.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you join us in both the linky party and the sketch challenge. Even if you can’t join, check out the Blog and Facebook to see all the beautiful creations.
Hi friends! It’s a new month, so there’s a new BYSHC Sketch Challenge! It’s a super fun sketch, so I hope you join us at our Facebook group. You have until March 31st to enter for a chance to win a prize.
All of the patterned paper is from BoBunny Joyful Christmas paper pad, which I knew would go perfectly with this BEAUTIFUL die from Jaded Blossom. I am in LOVE with this die. I used scraps to die cut out my flower and added glossy accents to the pistil to give it some shine. I heat embossed the sentiment in the middle of a red cardstock, cut out the sentiment, and used the red cardstock as my mat for the patterned paper. I glued everything down, but for the flower, I used foam tape to give it more dimension.
Thank you for stopping by and hope this inspires you to join us. Check out the blog for more beautiful inspirations from the design team. Can’t wait to see what you create.
Happy Saturday friends! I’m a day late in posting, but better late than never. I’m sharing my second card for BYSHC Sketch Challenge #30. It’s a fun sketch created by Crystal O. Minkler and I went with traditional colors this time. Red, Green, and Gold.
I started by cutting the paper panels into the size I needed. I printed, copic colored, and fussy cut the Holly & Mistletoe image. I used a gold gel pen to add some gold veins in the leaves. I heat embossed the sentiment and added foam tape behind the image. Lastly, I added some gold embellishments.
Thank you for dropping by and hope you join us on Facebook for a chance to win some goodies. The last day to play with this sketch is Feb 28th. Check out the BYSHC Blog for some more inspirations by the design team.

For my card today, I stamped, colored, and fussy cut out an image from Pink & Main Mugs and Kisses Stamp Set. This stamp set is just too cute! I combined it with some paper from Recollections Say Freeze Paper Pad and added some vellum paper behind the image to cut down some of that busyness. I die cut the vellum paper with Gina Marie Designs’ Eyelet Elegance Circle Die and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set.
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful crafty day! I hope you join us and can’t wait to see what you did with the sketch.
Sadly, it’s the last day of BYSHC Falling for the Holidays Linky Party. I hope everyone had a chance to check out BYSHC Blog for some Christmas inspirations and was able to join us.
For the last day, I decided to save the best for last which is a fun shaker card! I love shaker cards, and I used TWO of our wonderful sponsors to complete it. I started by creating the frame with our NEW sponsor Kat Scrappiness A2 Reverse Scallop Die Frame. I stamped, copic colored, and fussy cut out the mice from Gerda Steiner Designs Smell like Christmas Stamp Set and added some ADORABLE gingerbread embellishment from our lovely sponsor Twiddler’s Nook. She has to cutest embellishments ever so go check her out on Etsy.
To make my shaker card sandwich, I started by gluing a white frame over some acetate and then glued 2 more frames underneath that. Next I added foam tape all around the bottom frame. I flipped the sandwich around so the acetate was on the bottom and foam tape were sticking on top. I went a little overboard with my glitter, but I added that and more gingerbread into my shaker card. For my background, I used patterned paper with a bunch of stamped cookies from the same GSD stamp set and attached it to the foam tape to seal off my card.
Besides Falling for the Holidays Linky Party, we still have our monthly Sketch Challenge going on. I’m also sharing my third card for our monthly Sketch Challenge. Check out the other two on my Instagram, but these cards are super easy to make if you have these patterned paper with rectangular images. Just cut them out and glue them together and voila, you have a card.
I hope you enjoyed all the cards I’ve been sharing this week, and thank you for continuously stopping by. Remember you have until 11:59 PST to link up your card, and GOOD LUCK!
