BYSHC #23 ~ Penguin Trio

Hi friends! I’m back with my second BYSHC Sketch #23 card. I altered the sketch so it’s a mini slimline card since the penguins were a perfect fit for a mini-slimline.

I used Spellbinders Holly Jolly Prints Paper Pad with Bugaboo Stamps Three Penguins. I colored the image with some colored pencils and gamsol. I love how it blended easily. Lastly, I added the sentiment from Gina K Designs Perfect Poinsettia stamp set.

  • As you like it – Feminine/Masculine (Feminine because I love the flowers and adorable stuff. I also feel the bright colors also ends up being more feminine. It’s harder for me to make masculine cards.)

BYSHC #23

Hi friends! It’s time for a new sketch with Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers. I’m sharing a sweet card using Colorado Craft Company Gingerbread House and Recollections Holiday Spice Paper Pad.

I started by stamping the mice and then masking it off with Gina K Designs Masking Magic. Then I stamped the gingerbread house over it and removed the masking paper. I colored the images with colored pencils and gamsol and added some white accents with a white gel pen for the icing.
