JUGS Guest Designer

Hello! I’m super excited to announce that I’ve been invited to be a Guest Designer for the month of May at Just Us Girls. So excited, that I made 2 cards this week for this challenge. This week is Word Week and the word is Float.

For my first card, my inspiration was from floating through the sky and being carefree. I cut this double-sided patterned paper from lawn fawn that I thought perfectly matched my stamped image. Next, I added My Favorite Things Stitched Ric Rac over the cut. I colored the image from Hero Arts Make a Wish Stamp Set with Copic markers and stamped some dandelions in the background with InkOn3 Fadeout Ink. I added a rhinestone into the middle of the dandelion to give it some sparkle for a birthday card. Lastly, I added a sentiment from the same stamp set on top.

My first response when I saw the word Float was floating on water, so I thought this digital image from Bugaboo Stamps was very fitting. I wanted to make a CAS card, so I kept this card simple. I decided to attach the image onto a water like patterned paper and add a sentiment from Clearly Besotted Make a Splash Stamp Set.

Float on by to the Just Us Girls Blog to see all the beautiful inspirations the Design Team has come up with and join in on the fun!

Coloring Challenge – Day 10

Happy Weekend! It’s the last day of The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge. I’ve been busy, so I haven’t been able to post my coloring challenge projects on the blog until today. If you want to see what I’ve been coloring, check out my Instagram and give me a follow if you like what you see.

Now for my spring themed card, it was inspired by the JUGS Photo Challenge. The neon rain boots caught my attention, and I had the perfect stamp for it. The stamp is from Unity Stamp Joy and Brighter Days and the flowers from the background is from Altenew Under the Cherry Blossom Tree.

Coloring Challenge -Day 3

For Day 3 of the coloring challenge with The Daily Marker, I colored the Polkadoodle Honeypie Best Friends image with copic markers and tombow apt pro based markers.

Besides the color challenge, I’m also playing along with MFT Sketch Challenge #537.

Coloring Challenge – Day 2

A late post of Day 2 of the coloring challenge with The Daily Marker. I’m more on top of it on Instagram, so follow me there! I got this adorable image from Polkadoodles and used it for BYSHC Sketch Challenge #9. I’m still learning on how to color small images with alcohol markers without bleeding over the lines.

I colored the mouse with Copic Markers and Tombow ABT Pro Alcohol markers and the ornament with watercolor.

Coloring Challenge – Day 1

Joining the 10 day Coloring Challenge with The Daily Marker. For Day 1, I used watercolor to color these images from My Favorite Things Being With You. I ink blended with Gina K Designs Blue Denim, Coral Reef, Sweet Mango, and Wild Dandelion for the background and die cut it with Waffle Flower Lacy Ovals Die. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted Brushed Sentiments.

Join along the fun and spend some time coloring every day for a little bit.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by!
