BYSHC #65 ~ Bundle Up

Hi friends! I’m back with my last card for BYSHC Sketch Challenge #65. I got inspired by the sketch differently than my holly cards. Instead of strips of cardstock on the bottom, I used a large sentiment.

I used Echo Park My Favorite Winter paper pad and chipboard accents for this card. I cut the pattern paper to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and glued it on to an A2 card. I cut 1/8″ strips of red cardstock and glued them on. Lastly, I added the focal image and sentiment.

Here’s the sketch I was inspired by.

Thanks for coming. There’s still some time to join us at BYSHC Facebook group for a chance to win a $25 gift card from our sponsor Not 2 Shabby. Add your newly created card in the album by Jan. 31st. Can’t wait to see what you make.

BYSHC #65 ~ Holly

Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Even though Christmas is over, it’s never too early to start working on holiday cards. BYSHC has a new Christmas sketch challenge for January with Not 2 Shabby as our amazing sponsor.

For my first card, I cut the holly cardstock from Carta Bella’s Christmas paper pad to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. I cut Gina K Designs Christmas Pine cardstock into 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and 1/2″ stripes. I glued the pieces on to an A2 card.

Then I stamped and die cut some holly from Altenew’s Poinsettia & Berries stamp set. Lastly, I added them to the card with foam tape.

I had so much fun that I made a second holly themed card.

I followed the sizes of my first card and used Spellbinders Christmas Traditions paper pad with Sunny Studio Stamps’ Hogs and Kisses stamp and die set.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you join us at BYSHC Facebook group for a chance to win.

Here’s the sketch.
