Here’s the simple sketch that I followed.

BYSHC #66 ~Winnie the Pooh

Hi crafty friends! BYSHC has a new sketch for February with Pajama Crafter Stamps as our sponsor for the month. It’s a simple, fun sketch.

I started with cutting Echo Park Winnie the Pooh Christmas paper pad to the sizes on the sketch below. From the middle of the yellow cardstock, I die cut a circle using Pink & Main Layered Circles Dies. I die cut a white circle, glued it on to the yellow circle and cut a side off. I stamped the images using Echo Park’s Snow Globe Scene stamp set. I colored my image and glued my circles down. Lastly, I added the sentiment from the same paper pad.

An easy and adorable card complete. Hope you join in on the fun at BYSHC’s Facebook Group. Add your card in the album by Feb. 28th for a chance to win a gift card from Pajama Crafter Stamps. Check BYSHC’s blog or BYSHC’s Facebook group for more inspirations by the design team and group members.

BYSHC #65 ~ Holly

Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Even though Christmas is over, it’s never too early to start working on holiday cards. BYSHC has a new Christmas sketch challenge for January with Not 2 Shabby as our amazing sponsor.

For my first card, I cut the holly cardstock from Carta Bella’s Christmas paper pad to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. I cut Gina K Designs Christmas Pine cardstock into 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and 1/2″ stripes. I glued the pieces on to an A2 card.

Then I stamped and die cut some holly from Altenew’s Poinsettia & Berries stamp set. Lastly, I added them to the card with foam tape.

I had so much fun that I made a second holly themed card.

I followed the sizes of my first card and used Spellbinders Christmas Traditions paper pad with Sunny Studio Stamps’ Hogs and Kisses stamp and die set.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you join us at BYSHC Facebook group for a chance to win.

Here’s the sketch.

BYSHC #64 ~ Santa

Hi friends! I’m sharing my second card for the BYSHC #64 Sketch Challenge. This time, I used a mix of scraps for the sketch! Create a card inspired by the sketch for a chance to win a prize from Digi Doodle Studios.

I followed the measurements from the sketch and cut patterned papers from the Recollections Say Freeze paper pad. I adhered the pieces onto a black cardstock panel measuring 5″ x 3-3/4″.

Next, I stamped, Copic colored, and fussy cut the Santa from Newton’s Nook Designs Dear Santa. I stamped the sentiment and adhered Santa to the card front. Finally, I mounted the entire panel onto an A2 card base.

Here’s a look at the sketch. I hope you’ll join us! Upload your card in the BYSHC Facebook Group for a chance to win.

Thank you for dropping by! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

BYSHC #64 ~ Aurora

Hello everyone! I’m sharing my first card for BYSHC #64 sketch challenge. It’s a simple sketch! Make a card inspired by the sketch for a chance to win a prize from Digi Doodle Studios.

I started by cutting a white panel to 5″ x 3-3/4″. I masked the edges and the center using Gina K Designs Masking Magic, which I trimmed to 0.25″ strips.

I began with the top half of the panel: I masked off the bottom and then masked the hills before ink-blending the night sky. For the sky, I used Gina K Designs Emerald Coast, Blue Raspberry, Blue Denim, and In the Navy inks. To finish this section, I splattered Picket Fence Studios Opaque White Paper Splatter to create a starry effect.

Next, I repeated the same process for the bottom half of the panel. Then, using the leftover ink on my Emerald Coast blending brush, I gently blended the edges of the hills to help define the scenery from the border.

Next, I stamped, ink-blended, and fussy cut images from the Lawn Fawn Winter Skies stamp set. For the scarf, I stamped the image onto Lawn Fawn Winter Baby Blanket patterned paper, fussy cut it, and adhered it to my stamped image. Then I glued all the critters in my scene.

For the rest of the card, I used additional images and a sentiment from Winter Skies. I cut a navy cardstock panel to 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″ to layer behind my white panel. Finally, I adhered everything to an A2 card base.

Here’s a look at the sketch. I hope you join us. Upload your card in BYSHC’s Facebook Group for a chance to win.

BYSHC #63 ~ Folk Art Christmas

Welcome back to another BYSHC Sketch Challenge #63 inspiration. I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving weekend!

I didn’t have time this time around, so I chose a stamp that didn’t require coloring. I used Gina K Designs’ Folk Art Christmas stamp and die set. I stamped the images on white cardstock and die cut them out.

I cut Echo Park Warm & Cozy pattern paper to the sizes of the sketch below.

I glued the pattern papers on to an A2 card. Then, I glued on my stamped images. Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment on to the strip. Looking back, I should’ve heat embossed the sentiment before I glued it down on to the A2 card. The paper would have warped less, but not to much of an issue. I flattened it by putting the card under my Misti. 😉

BYSHC #63 ~ Poinsettia

Hi crafty friend! I’m sharing my first card for BYSHC Sketch Challenge #63. It is super simple this time around.

I’ve been seeing Poinsettia made with vellum recently, so I decided to make my own. I used Jaded Blossom’s Small Poinsettia Die to create a poinsettia in vellum. I glued the middle with Simon Says Stamp Crafty Tacky Glue and the glue was not obvious at all. For the pistil, I used white cardstock so it would show against the vellum.

Next, I cut my pattern paper from BoBunny Joyful Christmas paper pad to the sizes in the sketch below.

I glued all my pattern papers down on to an A2 card. Lastly I glued my poinsettia on. To give it more dimension, I only glued the center of the flower down.

That’s all to my simple card. Super easy and fast to make. Check out BYSHC’s Blog for the other inspirations from the design team. Be sure to add your card to BYSHC’s Facebook group for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor this month, Angie Blom.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful crafty weekend!

BYSHC Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party ~ Day 8

Good morning friends! Today is the last day to join in on BYSHC Falling of the Holidays Linky Party! Make sure to link up your cards on BYSHC’s Blog by 11:59 PST tonight.

I’m ending with a fun shaker card using our sponsor Kat Scrappiness’ dies and embellishments. I started with die cutting Glitter cardstock with Kat Scrappiness Magical Memories craft dies. I felt like my Mickey was missing a Christmas hat, so I took a gnome hat from Sponsor Gina K Designs & Therm-O-Web’s Gnome for the Holidays kit. Then I glued them together and on to Kat Scrappiness’ Full Front Shaker Card.

I cut the pattern paper from Recollections Red & White Paper Pad to 4-1/4″x 5-1/2″. I stamped the sentiment from Waffle Flower Warm Wishes on to the acetate and taped 3 sides down on the back. I poured in Kat Scrappiness’ Magical Holiday Sprinkles with some black and red sprinkles. Lastly, I sealed my fourth side and it was complete.

I hope you had fun this week full of Christmas inspirations. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. Be sure to check out all the beautiful creations on BYSHC’s Blog. BYSHC Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party ~ Day 7

I started with embossing all the necessary pieces with Gina K Designs Tapestry Embossing Folder and Swiss Dot Embossing folder.

Then I die cut everything else. I used Jaded Blossom Small Poinsettia Die to create my focal image. My sentiment was from Waffle Flower Happy Holidays Print Die.

I glued everything together and added it on to an A2 card. Super simple yet elegant if I do say so myself. 😜
