BYSHC #63 ~ Folk Art Christmas

Welcome back to another BYSHC Sketch Challenge #63 inspiration. I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving weekend!

I didn’t have time this time around, so I chose a stamp that didn’t require coloring. I used Gina K Designs’ Folk Art Christmas stamp and die set. I stamped the images on white cardstock and die cut them out.

I cut Echo Park Warm & Cozy pattern paper to the sizes of the sketch below.

I glued the pattern papers on to an A2 card. Then, I glued on my stamped images. Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment on to the strip. Looking back, I should’ve heat embossed the sentiment before I glued it down on to the A2 card. The paper would have warped less, but not to much of an issue. I flattened it by putting the card under my Misti. 😉

Mugs & Kisses

Hi friends. I’m playing along with Pink & Main November Challenge: Christmas. I used their Mugs & Kisses stamp set with Gina K Designs Holly Background set. I used Lisa Horton’s ink for my backgrounds to give it some sparkle.

BYSHC #63 ~ Poinsettia

Hi crafty friend! I’m sharing my first card for BYSHC Sketch Challenge #63. It is super simple this time around.

I’ve been seeing Poinsettia made with vellum recently, so I decided to make my own. I used Jaded Blossom’s Small Poinsettia Die to create a poinsettia in vellum. I glued the middle with Simon Says Stamp Crafty Tacky Glue and the glue was not obvious at all. For the pistil, I used white cardstock so it would show against the vellum.

Next, I cut my pattern paper from BoBunny Joyful Christmas paper pad to the sizes in the sketch below.

I glued all my pattern papers down on to an A2 card. Lastly I glued my poinsettia on. To give it more dimension, I only glued the center of the flower down.

That’s all to my simple card. Super easy and fast to make. Check out BYSHC’s Blog for the other inspirations from the design team. Be sure to add your card to BYSHC’s Facebook group for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor this month, Angie Blom.

Cozy Wishes

I’m playing along with 2025 Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I went with a clean and simple card.

I started with stamping, copic coloring, and fussy cutting the rabbit from Pink & Main’s Cozy Critters stamp set. Then I masked the bottom 2/3 and ink blended some coffee beans from Funky Fossil Designs Lotsa Beans. I went with a faded look. I removed my stencil and ink blended the background with my leftover ink. Lastly, I added the sentiment from the same stamp set.

Thanks for dropping by!

Coffee Cup

Hi crafty friends! I’m playing along with 2025 Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. It was a great excuse to play with Gina K Designs’ Give A Gift Die Set. It includes a coffee to go cup die set.

I had this piece of black and gold sheet using GKD Serene Branches Embossing folder with some gold embossing powder. I was trying something out, and I didn’t like how it turned out. I’ve been saving it, and decided it might look nice as a cup.

I die cut the sleeve with kraft card stock and ink blended Warm Cocoa Ink on the edge. Then I scored some lines on the sleeve. I glued it on to the body of the cup. I glued a pre-made sentiment from GKD Holiday Floral Poly-Glaze Sheets on to the sleeve.

I die cut my lid and stamped the sentiment from GKD A Little Something stamp set. I embossed a white card stock with GKD Serene Branches. I added some foam tape on the edge of my black cup and adhered it down to the background.

I got my gift card and added some double sided tape on the top. I adhered it to the back of my cup lid so the recipient can pull up the lid and take their gift card. Lastly, I glued my white embossed background to an A2 card.

Puppy’s Bubble Tea

Hi friends! It’s been awhile that I’m sharing a non-Christmas card. I’m playing along with Newton’s Nook Designs Sketch Challenge.

I stamped, colored, and fussy cut Newton’s Nook Design’s Puppy’s Bubble Tea. For the background, I used Echo Park’s My Dog paper pad.

For the tag, I used Gina K Designs Shaker Tags Die. I die cut 2 tags, and for one, I ink blended Waffle Flower’s Bokeh Stencil Trio for the tag’s background. I glued some Twiddler’s Nook Half-Tone Embellishments. For my brown boba, I used Gina K Designs Lots of Dots Die to die cut them out. I used Trinity Stamp Double-sided Adhesive Foam Strips to adhere the tags together. Lastly, I added a little brown bow on top.

Thank you for stopping by. I love how it turned out. I hope you do too.
