I decided to give it more depth by gluing the middle of the snowflakes back in.

Next I stamped, heat embossed, copic colored, and die cut the bear from TE Big Grumpy stamp and die combo. I decided it would be fun to color the bear lightly with blue to give it a snow look. I used the sentiment from our sponsor Newtons Nook Designs Frozen Fellowship stamp set.

Lastly, I added the bear with our sponsor Gina K Designs Action Wobbles. Check out my Instagram to see it wobbling. It’s so much fun. I can’t add videos on my blog, so please do check out my Instagram to see it in action.

It’s day 5 of BYSHC Spring into Christmas Linky Party and super excited to share this super shiny card. I’m playing with our sponsors Unity Stamp Co, Therm-O- Web, Gina K Designs, and Pink & Main.

Next, I stamped Unity Stamp Christmas Crew at an angle on a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. I fussy cut the bottom with an angle and copic colored the image. I glued it to the top and added a tiny strip of black cardstock. Lastly, I added a sentiment from Pink & Main Christmas Sentiments Foilables Cut Ups. I love how this turned out.

BYSHC #59 ~ Birdie Friends

Hi crafty friends! I’m back with a new BYSHC sketch challenge #59 using Waffle Flower’s Birdie Friends in Winter Die. It’s a simple layered sketch. Here it is.

Instead of coloring the birds, I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Sprays. I sprayed them on to white cardstock, wait until they dried, and die cut the pieces. I used Mermaid Lagoon for the birds and Carved Pumpkin for the beaks. I used Distress Mica Stain Winter Frost for the scarf and circle mats. For my hat, I used red cardstock. Lastly, I used the matching stencils to stencil in the eyes.

I used Pink & Main Layered Circle Dies to die cut a white cardstock and stenciled some clouds. I glued on my branches and added my birds. I foiled Lapis Watercolor Deco Foil on to Pink & Main Christmas Sentiments. Lastly, I followed the sketch and cut some paper from Echo Park My Favorite Christmas paper pad. I glued everything together and I was done.
