BYSHC #58 ~ Ski Lodge

Hi crafty friend! I’m back sharing some more inspirations for Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Sketch #58 challenge. I used Violet Studio Ski Lodge paper pad and decoupage pad for my cards.

I got 2 sheets from the paper pad and cut it to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. I lined the papers together and cut them diagonally. I glued them on an A2 card and added the ephemera from the decoupage pad. Lastly, I took some of the stars from the decoupage pad and added Altenew Metallic Gold Pigment Ink on it. I glued them on to the card and that was it.

I loved how it turned out, so I made 2 more cards that were 6 x 6. For one of them, I used white stars instead of the gold stars. I think I still prefer the gold stars. What about you?

Whale-come Little One

I made this cute card for a baby shower that had an Under the Sea theme. It’s one of my favorite themes for babies since I love the ocean. I used Gina K Designs’ Serene Sea Life stamp and die set for this card. I stamped the whales on watercolor paper, colored them with Altenew Watercolor brush marker Ultramarine, and die cut them out.

I watercolor my ocean background and added some light with Waffle Flower Sunburst Stencil. I attached my whales and heat embossed some bubbles. Lastly, I wrote my sentiment on the card.

Here’s a picture at the baby shower.

BYSHC #58 ~ Christmas Critters

Happy Friday crafty friends! I’m sharing some inspiration for Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Sketch #58 Challenge. It’s a simple sketch that allows for twofers with a lot of innovation. Here’s the sketch.

For my cards, I got 2 sheets from Not 2 Shabby Christmas Critters paper pad and cut it to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. I lined the papers together and cut them diagonally. I glued them to a black mat and added some ephemera from the same Not 2 Shabby line. Lastly, I added the sentiments from Gina K Designs Winter Terrain stamp set and Playful Penguins stamp set.
