BYSHC Sketch Challenge #49 ~Penguins

Happy Friday! I’m sharing this adorable card featuring our sponsor for this month, Therm-O-Web. They will be offering a $25 gift card to the winner of the Sketch Challenge #49. Here’s a quick look at September’s sketch.

For this card, I die cut and assembled this adorable penguin from Therm-o-Web and Gina K Designs Penguin Pal card kit. I used Therm-o-Web’s Rainbow Deco Foil for the ear muffs and scarf. I cut a 4-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ pattern paper from Not 2 Shabby Christmas Critters. I glued it on to the bottom half of my A2 card. I got a white cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the same card kit. I used Kat Scrappiness’ Stitched Scalloped Border Craft Die to die cut off the bottom portion and used Therm-o-Web 3D Foam Tape to attach it to the top of my A2 card.

Here is a different angle of my card, so hopefully you can see the beautiful shine from the foil.

I had extra pattern paper from my first card, so I made a sweet penguin card using Gina K Designs Playful Penguins stamp set. The sentiment was just perfect with this image.

BYSHC Sketch Challenge #49 ~ Elfie

It’s time for BYSHC’s new sketch for the month of September! I’m sharing this adorable card featuring our sponsor for this month, Therm-O-Web. They will be offering a $25 gift card to the winner of the Sketch Challenge #49. Here’s a quick look at the new sketch.

I started by foiling my background with Therm-O-Web’s Candy Stripes Toner Card Fronts and Radiant Red Fancy Foils. I die cut half of the background with My Favorite Things Stitched Basic Edges and glued it on to an A2 card panel. I stamped, copic colored, and fussy cut my elf from My Favorite Things Christmas sELFies stamp set. I glued it to the edge of my background and stamped my sentiment.
