BYSHC Sketch Challenge #48 ~ Yappy Christmas

Happy Friday! I loved BYSHC’s August sketch so much, I made a couple more cards. You have until the 31st, to submit your card into BYSHC Facebook Group Album #48. This month our sponsor is Unity Stamp Co, and they are giving the winner a $25 gift card.

I used Altenew Double-sided Adhesive Sheets to hold my scraps from Recollections Christmas Pets paper pad together. I cut off the extra strips hanging off the adhesive sheet. I used Gina K Designs Master Layout 4 to die cut out my background.

I used MFT A2 Circle STAX and Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities to die cut out a beige and a black circle. I used GKD Master Layout 4 to die cut an edge of the circle. I glued the circles on to my background. I found a pug in the paper pad, fussy cut it out, and glued it on to the beige circle. Lastly, I used LDRS Christmas Sentiments and Sentiment Stack II for my sentiment.

I have so many scraps from this paper pad that I made 2 more cards. Which one is your favorite? Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful crafty weekend.

I stamped and copic colored My Favorite Things Merry Christmoose image. I used MFT A2 Circle STAX and Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities to die cut out my image and a red mat.

I glued my image and circle mat on to the background and die cut with MFT Wonky Stitch Rec STAX. I attached everything to an A2 card. Lastly, I stamped and glued my sentiment from Spellbinders Mini Christmas Greetings.

BYSHC Sketch Challenge #48 ~Unity

Happy Friday! I’m back with my first card for BYSHC’s August Sketch Challenge #48. Our sponsor for this month is Unity Stamp Co. The winner will receive an awesome $25 gift card. They have a lot of wonderful rubber stamps, and they recently started some clear stamp line so be sure to check them out.

The sketch for this month is WONDERFUL! It allows you to use up a lot of your scraps or really bold pattern paper by cutting it up. I had so much fun with this one.

So I started by cutting Altenew Double-sided Adhesive Sheets to a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ sheet. I die cut some of my scraps from Recollections Say Freeze paper pad into strips with Trinity Stamps’ Stitched Strips Slimline Die Set. I peeled off one side of my adhesive sheet and I laid my strips one by one. I used Gina K Designs Master Layout one to die cut my background and a black mat.

Once my background was done, I die cut a circle with My Favorite Things A2 Circle STAX die set. I stamped and colored our sponsor Unity Stamp Dream of Being {so loved} image with my MISTI. I stamped the sentiment from Unity Stamp Joy, Peace & Comfort Mug stamp set. I accidentally moved my circle when I was stamping my small sentiment, so it ended up being slanted. I loved my coloring so much, that I decided to just go with it. 😛

I glued my circle on my background and peeled off the other side of my adhesive sheet and attached it to my black mat. I glued everything on to an A2 card.

Check out BYHSC’s Blog to see all the other beautiful cards from the design team. I can’t wait to see what you come up with. Be sure to enter your cards in BYSHC’s Facebook group in the Sketch 48 Album for a chance to win.
