BYSHC Sketch #31 ~ Poinsettia

Hi friends! It’s a new month, so there’s a new BYSHC Sketch Challenge! It’s a super fun sketch, so I hope you join us at our Facebook group. You have until March 31st to enter for a chance to win a prize.

All of the patterned paper is from BoBunny Joyful Christmas paper pad, which I knew would go perfectly with this BEAUTIFUL die from Jaded Blossom. I am in LOVE with this die. I used scraps to die cut out my flower and added glossy accents to the pistil to give it some shine. I heat embossed the sentiment in the middle of a red cardstock, cut out the sentiment, and used the red cardstock as my mat for the patterned paper. I glued everything down, but for the flower, I used foam tape to give it more dimension.

Thank you for stopping by and hope this inspires you to join us. Check out the blog for more beautiful inspirations from the design team. Can’t wait to see what you create.

  • Supplies:
    • Stamp: Spellbinders Mini Christmas Greetings
    • Die: Jaded Blossom Small Poinsettia Die

Your card reminds the Santa’s Land in Chutney, VT, where it’s Christmas all year. I hope you’ll join the fun! Have a creative week. 4. Beautiful Christmas card. I love all the patterns on your panels. You certainly made the sketch your own. I, personally have a problem with making a sketch my own, so I really appreciate when someone nails it. So glad you joined us at Die Cut Divas for our “Anything Goes” challenge
