Hello friends! I’m sharing a mini slimline card I created by layering stencils to make a scene. I’ve been enjoying ink blending with stencils recently and was challenged by Share Handmade Kindness’ January Challenge of layering stencils.
I started with the Stamplorations Beyond the Tree stencil on the bottom and the Waffle Flower Sunburst stencil on top and ink blended. I used copic markers to color the images from The Greeting Farm and fussy cut them out. I die cut out the black mat and the ink blended background with GKD Master Layout 7 dies. I also cut out a small hill and die cut the bottom with the same die so the stitched marks would match the background stitched marks. Lastly, I chose a sentiment that wasn’t as Christmas-y, so the card could be used for other occasions. It’s one way to extend your Christmas stamps.
