Color Hue #10: Navy + Cream

I made a one layer CAS card for the Color Hue’s #10 Challenge, Navy and Cream. I felt like I should’ve added something in the square, so I decided to add some splatter. I think I accidentally added too many splatters around the bird. What do you think?

This was before the splatter.

Supplies:

  • Stamp: Unity Stamp Co
    • Possible Not Easy
    • Koala-ty Friend (Bird)
    • Just Hold On (Sentiment)
  • Ink: GKD Blue Denim
  • Colored Pencil: Blue, Peach
  • Copic Markers: E00, E11

  1. I think it is definitely better with the splatters. Not getting them exactly where you want is the risk you take. I think I would use them much more often if it wasn’t for that risk. I love the navy and cream and that gorgeous flower. The frame is a brilliant idea and along with the splatters the little bird finishes it off perfectly. Thank you for joining us at CAS Mix Up this month xx
