Purple, Blue, and Green = Aurora. If pandemic didn’t happen, I probably would’ve gotten to see an actual aurora this year in Alaska. I can only hope for next year.
This was my first attempt with the aurora using ink blending, but it seemed off. I decided to try a second time with watercolor instead.

The conclusion is that I need more practice on how to make an aurora background.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you for stopping by.

Blending with amy medium can be tricky, but your skies are looking really good, I particularly like the top one! I have always found that lots of playing with colour really helps and sometimes the most unlikely occasion is the one that you’re most pleased with!
Keep up the good work!
