For Day 9 of the Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge, I decided to try no-line watercoloring for the first time. First I stamped the Merci Beaucoup flower from Clearly Besotted with GKD White Pigment Ink on to watercolor paper. To see the white ink better, I would hold the paper at an angle, and then I would line over the white ink with purple or green watercolor and blend it out. After coloring the flower, I used Misti to add the sentiment from Stick Together by Unity Stamp Co with GKD Lovely Lavender .

My details for the middle of the rose got lost during coloring. It was really hard to see the white lines, and my brush just wasn’t fine enough for the little details.

Thank you for your visit and time. š Any suggestions on how to improve my no-line watercoloring is appreciated.
I can see details in this beautiful rose and buds! Great job! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!

I would never have thought this was your first time ‘no-line’ watercolouring, you did such an amazing job and are braver than me as I’ve never tried it before. Love your CAS design, really makes the flowers the star of your card and the purple paper you used matches your flowers perfectly. Its a gorgeous card and I’m so glad you shared it with us at The Flower Challenge!
